Born Nathaniel Adams Coles in Montgomery, Alabama on 3/17/17, Nat King Cole had a several-decades-long career that ended only with his death from lung cancer on 2/15/65. Initially a jazz pianist with The King Cole Trio, in 1950 he launched his solo singing career and charted his first Top 100 hit ("Darling, Je Vous Aime Beaucoup" b/w "The Sand and the Sea") in 3/55. This directory is not intended as a complete discography but it does offer a variety of his most popular songs ranging from those initial two up through "That Sunday, That Summer" in 1963. So dig in, sit back, and relax as you sing along with the smooth, silky voice of the "King."
